Stayed as a family of 5 and had a great time. Accommodation is very basic and not as shown on the images however the site is great. We were the only English speaking that we came across in 7 days however never felt excluded. The pool area …
We stayed at this campsite for 1week in July. Our kids (11 &8yrs) had a wonderful holiday here, they loved the pool and slides and multi sport pitch. They did not partake in the kids club as they don't have a lot of French but still made …
The Mobil Home was new, well stocked and very clean with a great covered deck area. We had a quiet spot, despite being close to the railway line. Although concerned by the proximity in the first place the trains were infrequent and never …
We stayed here in July for our family summer holiday, and were a little disappointed to be honest. It was the first time we had stayed in a French campsite, and were expecting a lot more for our money than what we received. |We paid for a …
We spent 1 night here as a stopover heading south. Easy to find. Very friendly, helpful reception. English spoken. Good size pitches with pleasant surroundings – shrubs and hedges separating mainly grassy pitches. Very good facilities with …
We visited as a family at height of French season. The site is now run by Capfun. It is a good-size site with two indoor pools, two outdoor, 4x pétanque pistes, playground for younger children, bouncy castles, free exercise classes and …
We stayed as a family during the last week of August which seems to be slightly quieter. The pools were as shown on the website and offered plenty of room. We had a camping pitch which gave both sun and shade and was quiet and friendly and …
Vermin Infested, terrible customer service & an aggressive owner.
We stayed here in a caravan in Aug 2016. Family of 6 (4 kids: 8, 6, 3, 1).
We normally swear by Yelloh, and have had fantastic holidays in other Yelloh Campsites, but not so here.
I was an utterly forgettable experience.
To make it worse - Yelloh totally disregarded our concerns afterwards, and stated that they are not responsible for their campsites.
Firstly - general observations to help people:
- some pitches are miles from the sanitary blocks
- children’s splash pool area is up a load of steps away from other pools
- games and entertainment area is in a roofed smoking area
- gravel pats not suitable for scooters or buggies
- Wifi is expensive - you have to pay for half hour slots - poor coverage away from the centre
- Vermin issues - ants, mice and snakes
- we were given a rough ex mobile pitch @ a 10% discount
- It was VERY rough
- Ants everywhere, a snake, mice, no water
- They fixed the water - nothing else
- After multiple requests for help we had to move pitches
- Ants were in kids beds and our food
- In the move our caravan got cracked
- The owner was very dismissive and abrupt and eventually agreed to pay for the damage
- Turned out he was going to get a car repairer to "patch it"
- When we declined he tried to physically snatch the repair quote from my terrified wife, in front of horrified guests and children
- Lost a week of an expensive holiday with all of the stress
- When I complained to Yelloh, they totally decoupled themselves from the campsite and refused to stand over the service
